Liz Watkinson heads up Nielsen's Liquor Services Group across the Pacific. This specialist team centre of excellence uses the full suite of Nielsen’s research capabilities to work with key manufacturers in the liquor industry to monitor brand performance, market trends and shopper behaviour in the beer, wine, spirits and RTD categories.
Liz joined Nielsen 14 years ago in the UK, working with FMCG clients such as Kraft, Reckitt Benckiser and Wrigley. During her first four year stint in the Nielsen Sydney office, she managed a team looking after Unilever, eventually moving to lead the Sydney based Liquor business.
Later returning to the Nielsen Birmingham office, Liz ran a team working with a variety of liquor clients, such as Constellation, Fosters Wine, Imbev, Bacardi and Jim Beam. Since her move back to Australia in 2008, Watkinson has been managing Nielsen relationships for key local and international clients plus the Liquor Merchants Association of Australia.
