Chris Percy was appointed Managing Director, Pacific in January 2009. He brings a great deal of experience, leadership and success to the Pacific business, having spent the last three years leading the Retailer Services, Consumer Panel, Analytic Consulting and RMS Product Leadership functions across 45 countries in EEMEA.
Prior to this role Chris was based in Nicosia, Cyprus and was leading the overall Product Leadership and Retailer Services functions across EEMEA. His focus was on ensuring a consistent strategy for EEMEA in its product offering across product lines and to drive simplification (reduce inefficiencies) in the process.
Chris held a number of different positions prior this role, including Director Retailer Services for Nielsen Emerging Marketing (now EEMEA), based in Warsaw, Poland, and Retailer Services Director, North Asia, based in Hong Kong.
During his time in these roles, Chris and his team managed to secure new cooperation agreements with Retailers within excess of 15,000 stores. He also implemented a variety of leading edge services to assist Retailers in gaining more insight into their competitive environment, worked with leading Retailers in New Zealand in both the Food and Consumer Durable Product areas and has gained an extensive understanding of the Category Management processes.
Born in New Zealand, Chris has extensive retail knowledge spanning some 15 years in a variety of retail related roles and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management from Lincoln University in Christchurch, New Zealand.
